DAY 1: HOBART

Things to do Visit the Salamanca Place (Salamanca Market held from 9 am to 4 pm every Saturday) Visit the Hobart waterfront, and take in views along the coast to Wrest Point Casino and exclusive Sandy Bay. Stop at Anglesea Barracks and visit south Hobart at the foot of Mt Wellington. Drive upto Mt Wellington to get a bird’s eye view of Hobart City. Cruise the Derwent River ‐ Hobart Sightseeing Cruise including Iron Pot Lighthouse. Take a stroll through the beautifully landscaped Royal Tasmania Botanical Gardens. See the lovely Georgian St George’s Church Stop at Anglesea Barracks and visit south Hobart at the foot of Mt Wellington. Make a halt at Cascade Brewery’s gardens and grand old building, and the ruins of the Female Factory, once used as a female prison. DAY 03: VISIT PORT ARTHUR HISTORIC SITE

Please allow 1 hour 30 minutes each way travelling time between Hobart and Port Arthur.   Drive along the coast for a scenic drive to the Tasman Peninsula. After reaching Port Arthur, enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant. Visit the World Heritage‐listed Port Arthur Historic Site. Feel the spooky atmosphere at this former penal colony set in landscaped grounds, and hear tales from the site’s convict days as you tour the evocative ruins, which include the guard tower, church and main penitentiary. You will need three hours at the site. Depart for Hobart at around 5.30 pm to arrive at 7.30 pm.
